Congratulations to all the 4th graders for their amazing creativity at the Invention Convention this week! This was an extensive project that required the students to organize their time, persevere despite setbacks, and dig deep for the confidence to present their invention to an audience. I am extremely proud of every one of them! Thank you also to the 4M parents for supporting this project at home. It was truly a collaborative effort.
Today, Nikki Hu visited the 4th grade and led the students in an interpretive dance that told a Chinese folk tale. This is a new activity for many students but they all dove right in and presented a beautiful show to the 3rd graders at the end of the day. I will put some photos in the gallery on this website.
We will be decorating t-shirts for the Battle of the Books next week. If you haven’t already, please send in a white t-shirt on Tuesday. The Battles will be on Thursday and Friday.
4M still needs 5 volunteers for the Physics Olympics on Thursday, June 16th from 9 am – 12 pm. Please send me an email or write in the comment box at the bottom of this webpage if you can help out. Thank you to the people who have already volunteered.
